The Pavilion of the Republic of North Macedonia will officially open on May 8 at 18:30, featuring Velimir Žernovski’s project “PIETÀ IN THE EMERGENCY BLANKETS” as part of the 61st Venice Biennale. Organized by the Museum of Contemporary Art Skopje, the project is curated by Tihomir Topuzovski and Amanda Boetzkes, with Avni Qaili as commissioner. It is located at Spacious Castello 77, near the Arsenale and Ponte delle Vergini in Venice.
